◇武当剑很好地继承体现了我国传统剑术的特点，“太极腰、八卦步”是武当剑法独特的风格。剑法崇尚轻灵舒展，缓疾得当。动作协调自然，势式紧密相连，如飞云流水，穿连不断，各法贯通，随心所欲。以左旋右转，划圆舞圈为动作要领，动静、虚实、快慢、刚柔相配合，不用拙力，以意导势，气势合一，剑身合一，给人一种轻松、愉快、舒适的感觉。

INTRODUCTION

The sword play of Wudang School is one of the best to take on the traits of Chinese traditional technique and skill of swordplay. Its unique style lies in the state-of-art combination of Eight Step Mantis, well-balance of the whole body as well as the movement of sword. At one's will, the sword is usually played in the elegant manner, which is quick or slow, harmonious and natural. Actually, it's most treasured classic routine of swordplay among Wudang School.

The sword play is demonstrated by Wen Xuanzhen, the 12th disciple of Innermost Taoist Martial Arts.
